When Resetting Password, Can Convergence Provide A Specific Reason When Guidelines For Password Are Not Followed?
(Doc ID 2147626.1)
Last updated on AUGUST 19, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Communications Convergence - Version 3.0.1 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Within LDAP, a password policy has been enabled whereas:
- the length should be a minimum of 8 characters
- the password should contain an upper case letter
- the password should contain a lower case letter
- the password should contain a special character
Right now, when a user updates their password and fails to match the above criteria, Convergence throws an error of:
The password you entered does not follow the password creation policy. Please try again.
Is there a way for Convergence (by means of a c11n customization) to give the user a specific reason for a failed password update, if one of the above criteria is not met?
