Unable to find Custom Attribute in MetaSolv Solution Utilities (Doc ID 2148327.1)

MetaSolv Solution version 6.2.1

A new drop-down value needs to be added to a Custom Attribute, but it cannot be found using MetaSolv Solution Utilities (tbs_utill.exe). The custom attribute and its drop-down values are clearly visible on the Connection Design > Properties > Custom Attributes tab using the MetaSolv Solution client (tbs.exe). However, searching for the custom attribute value in MetaSolv Solution Utilities displays a "No rows were found matching query criteria" message. The value is not listed on the results tab's Custom Attribute column after retrieving all the values.

Recreation Steps

1. Open MetaSolv Solution Utilities (tbs_utill.exe)

2. Select Options > Custom Attribute > Create or Edit

3. Enter the value in the Custom Attribute field

4. Click Retrieve and a "No rows were found matching query criteria" message displays
