Symptoms

The Oracle Mobile Application (OMA) was built for use in a  Chrome browser.  It  does not allow logins now after a Chrome update.

jquery-2.1.3.min.js:4 XMLHttpRequest cannot load file:///D:/unpack%20nms_crew_opal%20build%20package/1.12.0.3.9%20Mobile%20App%20Browser%20build%20opal/app.html. Cross origin requests are only supported for protocol schemes: http, data, chrome, chrome-extension, https, chrome-extension-resource.k.cors.a.crossDomain.send @ jquery-2.1.3.min.js:4

The issue can be reproduced  with the following steps:

  1. Launch Chrome Browser
  2. Navigate to the index.html for the OMA browser build
  3. Double click the URL
  4. Click Login
  5. Enter valid Username and Password from the MOBILE_USERS database table.
  6. Receive error in F12 output

Changes
