slpit Number Ranges Truncated to 4 Digits (Doc ID 2149803.1)

Last updated on MARCH 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller - Version 6.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Oracle Communications Convergent Charging Controller (NCC) version 6.0.0, when generating traffic with slpit, numbers generated from a number range definition are truncated to 4 digits.

For example, when using the following number range definition:

CLI ?= RANGE (4) "<START_MSISDN_RANGE>" "<END_MSISDN_RANGE>" SEQUENTIAL

The substituted CLI variable is correctly "MSISDN" for the first call, but will only contain the first 4 digits for the second call (as opposed to  the actual "<MSISDN>" value).

Changes

Attempting to use Number Range definitions in slpit.
