Goal
Is there a way to throttle login attempts to the mail system to prevent brute force attacks? This mechanism would need to work with all mail services (SMTP, POP, IMAP, web/Convergence). Ideally, we would want to throttle logins by IP address and username. Does such a facility exist? Can this be accomplished through the use of Metermaid?
