Goal
In a VCP 12.1.3 Instance:
Using ATP Based on Planning Output. Trying to schedule PTO models, that contain ATO models.
Using item substitution in Order Management (OM). The purpose is to get rid of the substitute items before using the primary items, NOT for planning additional supplies.
Enter a sales order for an ATO model. Select the options. A match is found. There is a pre-configured ATO item that matches the selection of options.
This ATO item contains a substitute item, which has been setup as a related item in OM (and also had been collected to ASCP).
Need to schedule the sales order, in order for GOP to find a match. Once the matching has been found, it seems that the OM related Items functionality is no longer available.
Note the following issue:
Once a match has been found by GOP, how do related items get checked?,
And how can this star item get replaced by the substitute item? Would like to be able to use the same related items functionality available in OM (even after scheduling the SO line).
Is this possible?
