MDM 2.1 - Hanging of Print Zone in Internet Explorer

Attempt to print hangs the application in IE was caused due to missing framework patch 21127783.
And applying this patch resolved the issue.

Symptoms

When accessing Meter Data Management v2.1.0.2 / Oracle Utilities Application Framework version 4.2.0.2 with Internet Explorer 11, clicking Print in any zone causes the application is hanging and users are not able to print.
