The user has created some products in BRM for usage rating where they have created many impact categories (approximately 20,000) for rateplan. It uses rate plan selector.
CM is taking long to cache these entries in memory and causing performance issues in subscription creation and usage rating.
1. CM is taking too long time for loading impact categories into cache. Its taking approximately 10 mins to load about 20,000 impact categories.
This is breaking performance SLA and hence severely impacting usage rating and subscription setup. Its also observed that its taking long time for impact categories having long string length.
2. Why CM is caching usage rating rate plan details when subscription is created using PCM_OP_CUST_MODIFY_CUSTOMER even though there is no usage rating happening during subscription setup?
How to avoid caching during purchase product? Its only required during usage processing.
3. Why caching is so slow and how to improve ?
Steps to reproduce the issue:
1. Create a product with a rate plan having large number of rate bal impacts entries.
2. Invoke below opocode.

# number of field entries allocated 20, used 1
