Exclusion Is Created for Parent Item Instead of the Transaction Items
Last updated on JULY 05, 2016
Applies to:Oracle Retail Price Management - Version 14.0.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
After completion of the Retail Price Management (RPM) NewItemLocation (NIL) batch, the exclusion contains the parent item instead of the transaction items.
Steps to Reproduce:
- Create a level 2 item in Retail Merchandising System (RMS) and do not range it to any locations.
- Create a price change for the item at Parent Item/Zone level with change type as fixed amount and effective date in the future.
- Create another price change for the same item (repeat step 2).
- Range the SKU to a location.
- Run NIL batch.
After NIL batch completes its execution, exclusion is created for the second price change. The exclusion is created for the parent item, when it should be created for the transaction item.
