Meter Retirement Failing Through Syncs - Update Error (Doc ID 2156358.1)

Symptoms

In Meter Data Management (MDM) version 2.1.0.3 integration with Oracle Utilities Operational Device Management user is unable to retire the Device through ongoing sync request and shows the error message on Device ongoing sync request.

“Retirement Date is not allowed if device is not retired”

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create Device using Ongoing Sync request.
    1. Prepare the Ongoing Sync Device Inbound request and populate the required fields
    2. Submit an XAI and Ongoing Sync Request and should be created in Pending state.
    3. Navigate to Main Menu -> Data Synchronization -> Sync Request Inbound and search for the Sync request Id which we created in the above steps.
    4. Run the D1-SIOPE batch job to process sync request.
    5. Verify the Inbound Sync Request; it should be moved to Synchronized state and device should be created successfully with active state.
  2. Submit an XAI Ongoing Sync Request to retire the above created Device. Device ongoing sync request will be created in Pending state.
  3. Run the D1-SIOPE batch job to process sync request.
  4. Verify the Sync Request, it is in Update Error state with below error message and device is not retired
