Last updated on MARCH 21, 2019

Oracle Communications Indexing and Search Service - Version 1.0.5.18.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Using:  Indexing and Search Service (ISS) for Oracle Communications Unified Communications Suite 1u5-25.13500(1.0.5.25.0)

A user/application is doing searches which are generating the following in the iss-searchsvc.log:

Refer to:
ISS Search Results Inconsistent On Same Exact Query Compared to IMAP Search Results (Doc ID 1588494.1)

The above document says this is due to "The "body" term being missing from this parameter setting in msg.conf: service.imap.indexer.suffix_search.
Because of this, the pattern of ALL the nested terms having exactly the same value is NOT recognized, so the idiom is not handled by ISS.”

In the example search in that knowledge article, yes all the search term values were all the same:

"+( from:Pluging ( subject:Pluging ( to:Pluging ( cc:Pluging body:Pluging))))"

But is that really the point??

The values are not all the same in the above search.

The option shown is NOT set, as the article says is the cause;  it does include “body”:

service.imap.indexer.suffix_search = "subject body from to cc bcc"

What IMAP SEARCH would generated the above errors?
