Goal

Have some questions on dimensions regarding the dimension registration and entries in the REV_DIMENSIONS_B table:

1. Is the out of the box dimensions member data type is always Number?
2. Can the member data type of out of the box dimensions be changed to VARCHAR2, if the member data has alphanumeric codes ?
3. For custom dimensions, where the member data is alphanumeric codes, during registration of the dimension, can the member datatype be passed as VARCHAR2?
