Unable to Create an Item Using XITEM API if the Supplier is Inactive in RMS 14.1 System (Doc ID 2157011.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS) 14.1, users are unable to create an item via the XITEM API if the Supplier for that item is inactive.  The following error occurs:


Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Create an item through XITEM API with an inactive supplier.
  2. Observe that item creation fails with error: 'The Supplier is not active.'
