Setting Blank Value from API for a Drop Down Character Throws NPE When Accessed from GUI (Doc ID 2157386.1)

You have a model which has a Dropdown Characteristic of enumeration type.

Through API blank value is being set, code is executed successfully but when you go to GUI to verify it , Null Pointer is thrown.

You tried with the Same steps from GUI, there is no error from GUI.
