Applies to:
Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning - Version 12.1.3 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
Can we consider the end of the month when planning process applies Fixed Days Supply(FDS)?
For example, we have 1 qty Demand per day and FDS is 3. Normally Planning process suggests Planned Order with order quantity=3 on Day1 and Day4.
Day1,Day2,Day3,Day4,Day5,Day6
----------------------
DemandQty 1,1,1,1,1,1
Assuming that Day2 is the end of the month, we would like to have planned order as follows.
Day1,Day2,Day3,Day4,Day5,Day6
----------------------
OrderQuantity 2,0,3,0,0,1
In other words, we do not want to sum Demand Qty in next month when applying FDS.
