Unable to Process Inactive Device Configuration (Doc ID 2158132.1)

Symptoms

On Meter Data Management version 2.1.0.3 user is unable to process an inactive device configuration (i.e. device configuration having effective date/time prior to currently present device configuration on that device) even after deactivating D1-INSTDCVAL algorithm.


ERROR
The Effective date/Time of the new Device Configuration is prior or equal to the Date/Time of latest installed Device Configuration.


STEPS:

1. Navigate to BO D1-DeviceConfiguration and disable BO algorithm D1-INSTDCVAL.
2. Submit and process (batch D1-SIOPE) and then D1-CMSYN (where DC effective date/time = 06-29-2016).
3. Verify that the DC Composite ongoing Sync Request is in AWAITING ACKNOWLEDGMENT state.
4. Verify that the DC Ongoing Sync Request created is in PENDING state.
5. Submit and process (batch D1-SIOPE) for the DC Ongoing Sync Request.
6. Verify that the DC Ongoing Sync Request is in SYNCHRONIZED state.
7. Navigate to the Device Configuration portal and verify that the Device Configuration is created. Then submit and process (batch D1-CMSYN) (where DC effective date/time = 01-01-2016).
8. Verify that the DC Composite Ongoing Sync Request is in AWAITING ACKNOWLEDGMENT state.
9. Verify that the DC Ongoing Sync Request created is in PENDING state.
10. Submit and process (batch D1-SIOPE) for the DC Ongoing Sync Request.
11. Verify that the DC Ongoing Sync Request is in PRE-ADD ERROR state.
