Exporting to Excel in Citrix Error: "Export Failed. Unspecified Error. Please Contact Your Administrator to Correct the Problem"

Information in this document applies to any platform.
When attempting to export project to Excel (XLS) format, the following error occurs.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to Primavera R8.3.2
2. Open a Project
4. Select File > Export from the menu
5. Select .XLS file format
6. Select Format (Columns, Codes, etc)
7. Select Export Location
8. Select Finish
9. After performing these steps the error mentioned above displays.
No other errors or logs are recorded.
