"Invalid Request / Error While Processing Request" in ALM / FTP / PFT Screens After 8.0.1 / 8.0.2 Install (Doc ID 2164007.1)

Symptoms

After installing Oracle Financial Services Asset Liability Management (ALM), Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP), or Profitability Management (PFT) 8.0.1 or 8.0.2, you get the following error on screens like Process Tuning and Holiday Calendar:

Invalid request / Error while processing request

Please contact your System Administrator for more information.

The following error also exists in the nohup.out or similar file created when starting the Weblogic web server:
