Symptoms

Using Convergence 3.0.1.3.0 and Firefox browser (45 and 47.0.1)

When using the mail editor to compose an email and selecting a font, there is strange and random behavior observed with regards to the check mark that shows the currently selected font.

This issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. In the mail editor, open the drop-down to view the fonts (default font is selected with check mark)
  2. Close the drop-down and re-open again - same default font is selected with a check mark
  3. Close the drop-down and type some characters
  4. Open the drop-down and note the default font is still selected with a check mark
  5. Select a different font, close the drop-down and type some characters
  6. Open the drop-down and see that the second selected font is still selected with a check mark
  7. Select another font and close the drop-down
  8. Type some characters and a new font shows as selected with a check mark
  9. Close the drop-down and type some characters  -- Note that characters are now in a different font than the one selected
  10. Open the drop-down -- Note the default font is now selected, but the last font chosen is highlighted
  11. Select another font and close the drop-down; type some characters
  12. Open the drop-down and the default font is still selected with a check mark, but the newest selected font is highlighted
  13. Select another font, close the drop-down and type some characters
  14. Open the drop-down and the default font is still selected with a check mark, but the newest and previous fonts are highlighted

Similar issues are also seen when using Convergence 3.0.1.0.0 and 3.0.1.2.0.
