RDF V15 Automation Produces Error: 'Parameter contains non-existent dimension references' (Doc ID 2165627.1)

Goal

When there are changes performed to the hierarchies in the RPAS Configuration Tools, such as adding or deleting hierarchy levels, the automation plugins (e.g., Item, RDF, Prepare Demand) stop working.  The following error appears in the stderr.log:


Note that plugins like Curve or Forecast Common still work; only some of them experience this error.  How can this be resolved?
