Adding an InForm Adapter to Central Coding Fails (Doc ID 2166696.1)

Oracle Life Sciences InForm Adapter - Version 1.3.7 and later

Central Coding version is 3.0.4 and above.
InForm Adapter version is 1.3.8 and above.

Symptoms

 

When testing a new InForm Adapter URL in Central Coding, the following error appears:

Unexpected result.

In the InForm Adapter event log there is an entry from informadapter.adapteradminservice.webservice[error] with a message saying:

Cannot verify the security of the incoming message.

 

Changes

 A new InForm 6.0 trial is being added to Central Coding. In InForm 6.0, the InForm Adapter software is installed on the InForm server so the Adapter needs to be added to Central Coding.

Certificates are installed in Central Coding and InForm Adapter in order to secure the data being sent.
