When submitting request from IC Client to Publisher for processing, it appears that the XML request they are submitting are distribution requests, that include a (Calligo source) Model document, a Word macro and a (Calligo destination) to store the generated document.
The issue is that the distribution response appears to be send from Publisher BEFORE the Word macro is complete….or sometimes before it’s even run.
The distribution-request-response status that comes back is successful, to the IC updates the status of the request as completed successfully – even though it really hasn’t.
When submitting request from IC Client to Publisher for processing, Publisher should report a distribution-request-response status of successful only after the Worker completed the task.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Confirm that all Publisher + IC Services are running.
2. Submit requests for processing.
3. Monitor the results.
