Is it Possible to Convert the Existing OSB DG-XML File Adapter From File-Based to Queue-Based? (Doc ID 2168451.1)

Goal

On Oracle Utilities Smart Grid Gateway (SGG) Adapter Development Kit (ADK) or DG, is it possible to convert the existing OSB DG-XML File Adapter from file-based to queue-based keeping rest of the architecture intact?

If this adapter was changed to either JMS or MQ based - will the pipeline framework still be available and could it integrate the java parser as it is with this approach without modifying anything else?
