CFS Dynamic Parameter List Is Not Visible In OSM Task View (Doc ID 2168825.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 19, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Order and Service Management - Version 7.3.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

OSM 7.3.0.0.0 Build Number 1069
O2A version: 2.1.0.2.0

CFS Dynamic parameter list content is not visible (it is empty) in OSM Task View for manual Fallout recovery. Data elements of a Dynamic parameter list are missing in OSM WebClient hence cannot be edited.

With the current RSDOD/O2A, OSM is not allowing user to update the CFS parameters manually in OSM task view because the Dynamic parameter list is not visible to user (data elements are missing).
The user must correct the order fallout by updating the CFS/RFS parameter's value with correct one and then retry from OSM UI.
There is a requirement to handle/correct the fallout manually at OSM task level by updating the order data and do retry from OSM web client along with automated revisions from upstream.

STEPS TO REPLICATE:
1. Create a automated order with wrong CFS parameter value which result in fallout at capture interaction for UIM Inventory.
For example user has entered wrong ReservationId (a dynamicparam) in the upstream order which results in UIM data mismatch and hence fallout at captureBI task.
FaultMessage is " UIM Error: The reservation Id xxxxx is not found."
2. Open OSM Task view to correct the CFS parameter to clear the fallout manually . Open the worklist and the order and update the service CFS parameter with the correct value.
Task: Create Inventory Work Order ( BI Task) -> Order Source : SOM_ProvisionServiceOrderFulfillment -> Process: DesignServiceProcess Task-> Task: Create Inventory Work Order ( BI Task )
3. Update of the order data not possible as dynamic parameter list is empty in the task ( elements are missing ).
As reservationId is CFS service action parameter which should be visible under dynamic parameter list to update it manually at task view level so that user can progress further after recovering from the fallout. The list is empty: Dynamic Params List (0...1) Current : 0 Allowed : 1
Note: GetOrder.Response includes the dynamic params values.

DESIRED OUTCOME
Dynamic parameter list should be visible for user to edit to handle the fallout at OSM Task View client.
