Warehouse Price Data Is Getting Accumulated in PRICE_CHANGE_WORKSHEET Table in Store Inventory Management

(Doc ID 2169274.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 11, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management - Version 14.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The issue described in this document is known to Oracle, and a fix already scheduled for future release.
This article will be updated as official patch information becomes available.

The table PRICE_CHANGE_WORKSHEET in Store Inventory Management database (SIM DB) is a table which temporarily holds pricing from Retail Price Management (RPM) until its processed.
Batch PurgePriceChangesWorksheet deletes completed/rejected price change worksheet records; however, the records for Warehouse (WH) are not purged.

As the size of table is growing with time, the lookup operation on this table can lead to a performance issue.

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Create a price change at Zone level in RPM (zone is configured to have both Stores and WH).
2. Ensure that RPM and SIM are configured to get data via Retail Integration Bus (RIB).
3. The price data for stores will get processed in SIM, and the Warehouse counterpart will remain in the PRICE_CHANGE_WORKSHEET table.
