Symptoms

Model Management doesn't reflect build status correctly:

Last build status for failed maps still shows new status, would expect failed or error.
Failed Map count is not incrementing.

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run: cd data; touch mp/.mp, As a test the map file would need to have a device removed that is in an abnormal status (open) in the viewer to trigger the incorrect data seen in the Model Management Application.
2. Launch Model Management Application. Right click .mp and select Build.
3. The map build fails may still show as New in the Pending Maps section and Failed Maps is 0.
