Searches for Accented Terms in Hellenic Languages (Like Greek) Return Different Results Than Searches for Unaccented Forms of the Same Terms (Doc ID 2171543.1)

In an Endeca application that is enabled for Greek via '--lang el' options on Dgidx and the Dgraph, search results for terms that use accented or capitalized characters are not returning the unaccented or lower-case version of those characters.  Diacritic folding of characters to their simple ASCII equivalents does not seem to be taking place despite having the --diacritic-folding option enabled on Dgidx.  

The terms must be searched for exactly how they are spelled in order to match.  For example, the following results differ depending on how the terms are accented or capitalized, when they should all return the same results due to diacritic folding:
