Exemption Not Applied Properly On Bill Level Adjustment (Doc ID 2173703.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 11, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version to [Release 7.5.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) Applications version, it is observed that while giving Bill Level Adjustments on an exempted account, the exemption is not properly taken into consideration.

Here is an example,

Consider an Amount of 20 with option Include taxes in Adjustment.
where Exemption is 20% and Tax is 10%.

Amount that should be applied,

Original Amount = 20
Tax percentage = Tax percent - (Exemption% of Tax) --> 10% - (20% of 10 -- > 2 %) = 10-2 -- > 8%
Tax amount = 8% of 20 = 1.6

Total Amount = 20 + 1.6 = 21.6
Amount Applied by BRM = 22

 Software Changes.
