On Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) Applications 220.127.116.11.0 version, it is observed that while giving Bill Level Adjustments on an exempted account, the exemption is not properly taken into consideration.
Here is an example,
Consider an Amount of 20 with option Include taxes in Adjustment.
where Exemption is 20% and Tax is 10%.
Amount that should be applied,
Original Amount = 20
Tax percentage = Tax percent - (Exemption% of Tax) --> 10% - (20% of 10 -- > 2 %) = 10-2 -- > 8%
Tax amount = 8% of 20 = 1.6
Total Amount = 20 + 1.6 = 21.6
Amount Applied by BRM = 22
