Applies to:
Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management - Version 7.5.0.15.0 to 7.5.0.15.0 [Release 7.5.0]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
When authorization happens for roaming service, a reservation object has been created with 0 quantity.
The rating product has been modified from using one Ratable Usage Metric (RUM) to two RUMs. When one product had one RUM, the quantity field in reservation object was populated fine, but the rating quantity became zero when switching it to two RUMs.
Stack trace in dm_oracle.log:
Steps to reproduce the issue
----------------------------
1. Defined products with two RUMs for rating.
2. Created an account with a plan which includes the product.
3. Created General Packet Radio Services (GPRS) usage with PCM_OP_TCF_AAA_AUTHORIZE and checked the reservation_t table.
The quantity was zero, which is the main problem.
4. Finished with PCM_OP_TCF_AAA_STOP_ACCOUNTING and with a Data Manager (DM) core dump.
