Unable to "Back Fill" Newly Required Label/Value Field for Updated Product Catalog Item on Existing Open PSR Orders (Doc ID 2177247.1)

A new required Label/Value field was created for our an existing product. It was defined as required and configured with a default value. Creating new PSR orders is not a problem. The Label/Value field for populates with the default value as expected. However, pre-existing open PSR orders with the updated product on them error when attempting to complete the order's DD task. Is there a method to back fill the newly required Label/Value field on open orders to avoid having to Supp Correct them all?
