On Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management(BRM), 22.214.171.124.0 version, Invoicing, clarification is needed on the below two approaches to generate XML.
Using the out of box policy prep_invoice.c opcode for generating XML and pushing it to Oracle BI Publisher(BIP) where the processing of XML tags are performed to generate the desired values to be displayed in invoice.
Customizing the policy prep_invoice.c opcode and hence generating XML where XML tag holds the processed values then the XML is pushed to BIP where directly the XML tags are mapped in placeholders without any further processing of XML tag values.
Query: Need to know from performance wise and with respect to BRM and BIP which approach will be more efficient to implement?
