This document explains the overall steps to upgrade Agile to 9.3.6 by preparing a new instance for the upgraded environment. In this way, source instance will be preserved and user can go back to the pre-upgrade version if needed.


This note is a guide for Agile Administrators and partners who are conducting Agile upgrade. Upgrading Agile PLM is mainly done by upgrading the Agile database schema using AUT (Automated Upgrade Tool). Application side upgrade will be a fresh install of the new version. Detail steps on how to install Agile Application are not covered in this note.
