Symptoms

When connecting to a newly installed Mobile Synchronization Gateway the following message is displayed:

Couldn't finish.  Couldn't open a connection to the server.

A warning also appears in the errors.0 log:

WARNING [DATE TIME <...IMAPClientImpl$CapabilitiesOperation.process> Missing capability: X-UNAUTHENTICATE for<HOST NAME>.
