When working with Transaction Incident Details Extract report and then selecting an XLS report, then selecting a subset of that report (due to report splitting into XLS's of 10,000 rows apiece), the result .XLS file contains HTML content. So when user selects the XLS file, they get a Microsoft Warning message since the extension of the file does not match the contents and causes long wait times to view because Microsoft is converting the contents of the file to view in Excel.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to Report Management > CCM Result Management Reports.
2. Select the Transaction Incident Details Extract report.
3.Click on Actions > Run Now.
4.Pick the required parameter values and click on Generate Report.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot open report files in excel format.
