"Error Connecting to Web Service: TicketPrintingExternalService" Error When Printing Item Tickets/Shelf Labels (Doc ID 2182598.1)

Symptoms

In Oracle Retail Store Inventory Management (SIM) 15.0.1, while printing item tickets and shelf labels, the application is throwing a 'Connecting to Web Service' error.


The issue can be reproduced with the following steps:

  1. Click on Print.
  2. Click on Item Ticket.
  3. Click on Create.
  4. Enter Item Number.
  5. Select Format Type.
  6. Select Format Name.
  7. Enter the Quantity.
  8. Click on Save.
  9. Select Item and Click on Print Ticket.
  10. Application throws above error.
