Oracle Financial Services Balance Sheet Planning (BSP)
Semaphores / Shared Memory
On BSP 184.108.40.206.1, it appears after running complete calculation, the calculation completes successfully without errors, but a semaphore associated with the completed ofsrm process is not released.
Recurring semaphores happen when we process a lot of calculation. Now that we're running a way more entities, the server is becoming jammed with too many semaphores.
Previously these were removed occasionally, but now, some calculation can't finish before that server have too many semaphores.
The following errors may start to appear in the log files after semaphores start to accumulate:
Module Logging OFS errors: semget failed, errno = 28, file ipcmutex.cpp, line 251
Module Logging OFS errors: Out of Shared Memory
Expect the semaphore to be removed after successful completion of ofsrm process.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Run complete calculation for leaf 0 planning point.
