AIP-Online: Receiving Calendar Exceptions Are Being Exported Incorrectly (Exception Should Not Be Exported)

(Doc ID 2183658.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 16, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Retail Advanced Inventory Planning - Version 14.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

The schedule is not correctly applying exceptions to generate lead times, and thus data is exported for every day. This is incorrect.

Consider a couple scenarios based on the Receiving Calendar tab in DM Online:

#1 Receiving Calendar has only Wednesdays unchecked, and New Exception Pattern has Wednesday checked. In this case, the default pattern is YYYNYYY (receive all days except Wednesday) and the exception pattern is NNNYNNN. The expected result is there must only be lead times on Wednesdays. However, all days are being exported in the data.

#2 Receiving Calendar has all days unchecked and only Wednesdays checked, and New Exception Pattern has Wednesday unchecked. In this case, the default pattern is NNNYNNN (receive only on Wednesdays) and the exception pattern is YYYNYYYY. The expected result is result is there will be lead times for all days except Wednesday. However, all days are being exported in the data.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Apply New Exception Pattern to a Store.
2. Run generate_sched.sh 1
3. Run cron_export_sched.sh
4. Inspect iplti.dat and see all dates exported.
