Special Characters Cannot Be Used for Password Sys,system,ctxsys, Agile Schema During Agile PLM Database Install (Doc ID 2184576.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to add special characters to the password during Agile PLM Database Install the following error occurs.

Error
Severe

Please do not use special characters.


Steps
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Run the agile9340db_oracle.exe
  2. Go to Agile PLM 9.3.4.0 Database Configuration
  3. Enter below password including special character such as "agile!" for

    SYS
    SYSTEM
    CTXSYS
    Agile Schema
