BPA Script Unable To Sense That Save Has Occurred On Account Page, Persons Tab
(Doc ID 2184925.1)
Last updated on OCTOBER 10, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle Utilities Customer Care and Billing - Version 2.4.0.3.0 and later Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On : 2.4.0.3.0 version, SR - Scripting
Search for <LASTNAME>,<FIRSTNAME>. On Dashboard, click Account context menu -> Go To Account. Click Persons tab. Adjust number of bill copies to 2 (or really, any change on this screen at all). Click Save.
Expected behavior: Save will occur, text-label for Save should grey-out, Delete text link should appear to the left of Save. Current behavior: Clicking Save does seem to update the database, but the save button stays enabled, no delete text link appears, and according to our BPA script that we use to drive to this page, the %SAVE-REQUIRED boolean is still set to True, as if the user had never pressed Save at all.
Workaround noticed: After changing an item on the Persons tab of the Account page, if you click any other tab, and -then- click Save, the Save text-link does properly get disabled, the Delete link shows up, and a BPA script is able to properly sense that the save event has occurred. We believe this should all also work from the Persons tab, and it appears to be a bug that it does not.
This did not occur in CC&B 2.4 SP2, and was noticed during testing of SP3. We need the boolean value %SAVE-REQUIRED to be false after a user clicks Save.
