Unable To Compile Custom SRP Code (Doc ID 2185086.1)

Last updated on JANUARY 19, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Communications ASAP - Version 7.3.0.0.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When attempting to upgrade from ASAP 7.0.2 to 7.3.0(Patch 1), and also changing the Operating System from Solaris to RedHat Linux(64-bit), the following error occurs during the compilation of custom SRP code.

In the following file ($ASAP_BASE/include/common.h) Structure DataType is defined in Uppercase (REFCUR_DATA). However when using it, it's being referred to in Lowercase(refcur_data). This is causing the custom SRP compilation to fail.
