FUTURE_COST.PRICING_COST Column Value is Calculated Incorrectly After Off Invoice Deal Is Approved (Doc ID 2185089.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 03, 2019

Oracle Retail Merchandising System - Version 15.0 to 15.0.1 [Release 15.0]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

The FUTURE_COST.PRICING_COST value is calculated incorrectly after an Off Invoice deal is approved in Retail Merchandising System (RMS).

Steps to Recreate:

  1. Create an item in RMS and approve. Make sure item has entries in ITEM_EXP_HEAD and ITEM_EXP_DETAIL.
  2. Check FUTURE_COST table. PRICING_COST column is updated correctly ('SYNC') method.  It includes base_cost+ELC (Estimated Landed Cost).
  3. Create a promotional Off Invoice deal for the item/location and approve it.  Make sure deal discount is included in PRICING_COST.
  4. Check FUTURE_COST.  NET_COST/NET_NET_COST/DEAD_NET_COST are calculated perfectly.  But PRICING_COST is calculated incorrectly.  It is only copying the ELC_AMT in the PRICING_COST column.
