LDAP Users Are Not Able To Approve Changes With Error:"Invalid Approve/Reject Password" after Upgrade to Agile PLM 9.3.5 or Above (Doc ID 2185180.1)

Symptoms

LDAP users are able to login to Web Client and Java Client but when attempting to approve Changes using LDAP login username/password the following error occurs.

ERROR In GUI

"Invalid approve/reject password"

ERROR In Logs

Login failed for user : XXXXX
Actual message : Missing 'equals' javax.naming.directory.InvalidSearchFilterException: Missing 'equals'; remaining name 'ou=groups,dc=xxxxx,dc=xxxxx,dc=com'
at com.sun.jndi.ldap.Filter.encodeSimpleFilter(Filter.java:330)
at com.sun.jndi.ldap.Filter.encodeFilter(Filter.java:146)

 

Changes

 Upgrade Agile from 9.3.3 to 9.3.5
