When a Published Project Is Copied, the New Project Also Has a 'Published' Date but Does Not Exist in the Px Tables

(Doc ID 2186495.1)

Last updated on OCTOBER 06, 2016

Applies to:

Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management - Version to [Release 16.1]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After copying a previously-published project, the new project has a 'Last Published On' value; however the new project has not yet been published and the pxrptuser.PROJECT table has no record of the new copied project.

There should be no 'Last Published On' value for the new project before it has been published.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to P6 web and copy a published project.
2. Observe the new copied project has a 'Last Published On' value.
3. Connect to the database as pxrptuser and check the PROJECT table, no related record is available for new copied project.

Due to this issue, a correct 'Last Published On' value is not available for the copied project.
