Msconfig Returns 0 Status After Failure (Doc ID 2188249.1)

Symptoms

We are running prerelease 8.0.1.2 on the new backend stores and the frontend systems are still running official 8.0.1.1. The MMP.rcp below has the same incorrect "unset_options" line embedded in it, along with a bunch of other stuff. They both generate the same error message to STDERR. But the return code is 0 for one.

Changes

Patch 8.0.1.2.0 applied to one of the Messaging Servers.
