Agile LDAP User Can Login But Fails to Approve/Acknowledge with Error "Invalid approval/rejection password"/"Invalid acknowledgement password" (Doc ID 2188532.1)

Symptoms

When the specific LDAP user tries to approve/acknowledge Change with LDAP password, below error occurs:

Error

- Error on approval:
Invalid approval/rejection password

- Error on acknowledgement:
Invalid acknowledgement password



What is Working

User can login to Agile using the same LDAP password successfully
Happening only for specific user, the most of the LDAP users can approve with LDAP password

 

Facts

There are multiple LDAP servers integrated to Agile

Steps to Reproduce

1. Log into Web Client as problem user using its LDAP password
2. Go to My User Profile, and make sure that General Information | Use Login Password for Approval is set to Yes
3. Go to Workflow Routings tab, and open the Change which is waiting for user's approval/acknowledgement
4. Click Approve/Acknowledge
5. Input the same password used in step 1, and Approve/Acknowledge
6. Gets error

Changes

Possible changes:
1. Converted Agile database authenticated user to LDAP user
2. Changes to the LDAP user where the user belongs at the LDAP server side
