Symptoms

On Design Studio 7.2.2 B1022, Activation Services

Design Studio is not allowing the creation of  parameters with [] in name

Customer has a requirement to create parameters in ASAP service model with [] in name.

Example parameters:

OLD_DN[1]
OLD_DN[1].ATTRIBUTE

This kind of notation is not allowed in design studio. Older versions of the service model has this kind of naming convention which is working fine in ASAP 7.2.0

ERROR

Node Name is not a valid name.
