Goal

When looking at HIP files from last week, the customer sees shifts and activities dated from several months ago.

The SMAuto process (the scheduling engine) only cares about today’s and future shifts. When they are sent then they add to the data held in memory and while it doesn’t cause any performance issues (yet), the customer is concerned that old data being held in a real time scheduling engine will accumulate and lead to performance issues. There are currently approximately a dozen examples x 14 schedulers.
