Symptoms

Reported Behavior 

The DBA reported the MetaSolv Solution application query below as having the highest contention / IO.



Expected Behavior

The identified query needs a solution to reduce contention / IO on the database (tuning, etc).


Recreation Steps

The query is used to display the MetaSolv Solution tbs.exe client's My Desktop > "My Service Requests" portlet information and executes at the process points listed below:

 * MetaSolv Solution client (tbs.exe) logon

 * Clicking the My Desktop link in the upper right corner of within the MetaSolv Solution client (tbs.exe)

Degraded performance, high contention / IO
