Last updated on OCTOBER 04, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Commerce Platform - Version 11.2.0.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

How to get visibility of mapped network drives from WebLogic application server instance runs as a Windows service.

1. WebLogic application server needs to run as Windows service.
2. A shared folder between the ITL and Oracle Commerce servers is required.

Example scenario,

The purpose is to get the Redirect Save functionality working in Experience Manager, which involves transferring the saved file across servers.
For instance, save the redirect results in a file under the application export directory, then Endeca contacts ATG runs as a Windows service and requests read the file.
And the request fails and returns the following error. However this error does not occur if one runs manually WebLogic server from the Windows command prompt.
