Enter Invalid Date, Correct Value After Error Message, Only Way To Exit Is To Empty The Field (Doc ID 2192140.1)

Oracle Financial Services Revenue Management and Billing - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

On : version, OTH - Other Bugs

After entering an invalid date, correcting it after the error message is displayed, the only way to exit is to empty the field.

When a user inputs a date with an incorrect date format (we are on EURO profile), an error "Invalid Date. Date Format is d-M-yyyy" comes up. This is okay and the error message is valid. However, when the user clicks on 'Ok', and then clicks on 'Cancel' (to exit the Add Price List page), the error again comes up, instead of allowing the user to leave the page. The only way the user can get rid of the error and exit the page is if the Effective Start Date field is emptied. I've attached a test report document.

"Invalid Date. Date Format is d-M-yyyy"

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

On Add Product Pricing:

Input an invalid date (profile: EURO).
An error will show up.
Click on OK twice to get rid of the error.

Click on Cancel to exit the Add Product Pricing page

The page will not allow you to leave. The error will pop up again.
The only way to exit the page is to get rid of the error (by clicking OK), and then provide a valid date, before clicking Cancel
